Richard Cribb

Richard Cribb is a qualified IT and Finance professional, with over 30 years experience in business, combining Finance, IT and Commercial & Supplier Relationship Management. He has considerable experience in the development of significant outsource relationships in a FTSE 20 Utility company. He has over 11 years experience of developing supplier framework agreements and commercial negotiations to deliver some of the largest IT programmes within the Utilities market. Richard has also delivered a number of large IT projects, including SAP and Data Warehousing. As part of a Corporate Social Responsibilty programme, Richard started and operated a major supplier / client charitable initiative, now into its 8th year, raising funds to support the education of over 3500 under-privileged children in India.

Colin Whalen

Colin Whalen has significant real-world experience in Shared Services, Outsourcing and Business Support Systems, working across the life-cycle from strategy and business case development, through implementation, to governance and management of service delivery. Recent assignments have included: new shared service operations at Balfour Beatty, global HR outsourcing advice for Diageo, and global HR systems for the British Council.

Bob Samwell

Bob Samwell has significant utilities experience in Consulting , IT services including offshoring and in Engineering and asset management & operations.  He has over 20 years  experience as a Chartered Engineer in Utilities where he was responsible for the day to day operations of a UK regional network operations and asset management. Subsequently a further 15 years experience in IT services and consulting.   This includes IT governance, programme management, ERP shared services development and development and implementation of SCADA systems.

Peter Hughes

Peter Hughes is an MBA qualified Senior Manager with over 28 years’ experience in the Water Industry complemented by earlier career in the construction industry. Peter’s background is in commercial management and procurement with particular emphasis on strategy / planning, governance, process assurance and SRM combined with key expertise in Change Management particularly Outsourcing and BPO this includes a two year international Leadership assignment based in Bangalore, India. In addition Peter has significant experience of programme and project management having lead a number of key corporate initiatives both in Operations and Customer Services all complemented by a proven ability to effectively manage operational and technical teams ranging in size from 8-170 FTE.

Andy Haslam

Andy Haslam is an accomplished Programme Executive and Programme Manager, with a strong technology background, successful project delivery record and extensive IT experience. Managed major IT Transformation programmes for multiple clients,  with extensive experience of delivering utilising offshore capabilities. Qualified in Prince 2 and MSP (Managing Successful Programmes). Uniquely, has experience of being both a service provider, and a recipient of outsourced services. High contractual and commercial understanding gained from real world experience of contractual management and budget responsibility.

Ian Woolley


Ian Woolley is an experienced leader and senior manager. A successful track record in a range of disciplines; including change management, organisation and business process design and implementation, large scale business and IS Programme and Project Management. Ian also has a commercial background, developing global sourcing strategies, executing large scale IT sourcing events, supplier relatonship and contract management. He has also worked in service and incident management and undertook a business relationship management role for a number of year. Having worked in the Utility sector Ian has a firm understanding of IS regulatory submissions and negotiations.
